Account deletion
You can delete your DIGO Email account, the email marketing service of Studio 09 S.r.l., at any time, together with all the data it holds. The account is the same for the web dashboard and for the DIGO Email app for iPhone and Android: you only need to delete it once, from wherever you prefer.
From the DIGO Email app
- On the “Overview” screen, tap the profile icon at the top right.
- At the bottom of the Account page, tap “Delete account”.
- Enter your password and confirm.
From the web dashboard
- Sign in at www.digo.email and open Settings.
- In the “Close account” section, enter your current password and type the word ELIMINA (always in capitals and in Italian, as the dashboard requires).
- Press “Close account”.
If you can’t sign in
Write to privacy@digo.email from the account’s email address, stating the sender name or company name. We’ll check that the request comes from you and close the account ourselves.
What we delete
Campaigns that are sending or scheduled stop immediately. Within the following minutes we permanently delete users and logins, contacts with their data and proof of consent, lists, tags and custom fields, campaigns with their statistics, automations, images, sending domains, orders and carts from connected shops, profile photos and phones connected to the app. Before deleting the account you can export your contacts as a CSV file from the Contacts page of the dashboard.
Credits purchased and not yet used are lost, except for the refunds provided for in the terms of service, including the consumer right of withdrawal within 14 days of purchase: if you are entitled to a refund, request it from info@digo.email before closing the account.
What remains and for how long
- Backup copies and application logs may contain the deleted data for a further 14 days, after which it is deleted from there too.
- Invoices already issued remain in our accounting records for ten years, as required by law.
- Amazon SES, which sends the emails, keeps its own platform-wide list of addresses that have caused a permanent bounce or a spam complaint.
Details are in the data processing agreement and the privacy policy.
